What type of Pilates session is best for you?
Pilates Fitness Center offers several different session options for our clients. If you have specific exercise restrictions due to an existing injury or health issue you may benefit more from private or duet sessions. If you have no exercise resrtrictions to consider, then you have all studio options open to you. We offer privates, duets, trios, and group classes on the equipment, and we offer group mat classes or floor work.
Private Sessions on the Reformer
Private sessions are really the best environment for learning Pilates exercises. Wether you are working on just feeling and looking better, or addressing specific issues, private sessions are tailored to the individual. We work on correcting specific common muscle inbalances and allignment issues as they pertain to you while preventing injury or working around existing injuries. You also recieve more of a total body work out, working the lower and upper body much more than you would in a mat class, while still emphasizing the core muscles.
Group Mat or Tower Classes
Group classes are a good alternative for someone who is not able to do privates but still wants a challenging workout while recieving many of the same benefits. Workouts are done in groups of six or less people in each class to focus on each clients individual needs as much as possible.
